As I approached my 50th birthday I decided I wanted to celebrate that milestone by running a marathon. I was the proverbial “couch potato”, and had not run regularly for more than 20 years. The friendship, support and direction provided by Jeff made my marathon vision real.

Hi! I am Jeff Brandes, BS, CSCS, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Fitness Motivation Expert, member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, founder of www.MakingEveryRepCount.com, and creator of The Fitness Motivation System.
After 22 years in the Athletic Club Industry, spending some of the time in Fitness Center Operations Management, but mostly doing Personal Training, I left the athletic club scene in October 2009 to open up a private personal training practice, entitled, Making Every Rep Count, LLC.
My Private Personal Training Practice is based out of York, Pennsylvania. I will travel from Central, Pa to Baltimore, Md. and surrounding counties in between to train clients in their home. Training clients anywhere that we can meet: in their basement, den, living room, backyard, deck, or at a park close to home. It is my mission to motivate, to inspire, to teach, and to make a difference in your fitness lifestyle!
My specialty is helping people who struggle with motivation and who have trouble with exercising efficiently and consistently. What sets me apart from other personal trainers is my compassionate approach to teaching, communicating, and listening and understanding my client's needs, fears, and desires. It is my committed and dedicated approach to finding and doing whatever it takes to make a difference in each client's fitness lifestyle. It is a special blend of training hard and training smart, with a healthy dose of positive reinforcement and a fun sense of humor!
